His practice focuses in the patents area, particularly in the development of technical opinions, writing and filing patent applications, utility models and industrial designs, substantive examination and licensing in the chemical, biotechnology, mechanical and electrical areas.

He is graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering and Extractive Industries (ESIQIE) for its acronym in Spanish of the National Polytechnic Institute receiving the Degree of Industrial Chemical Engineer. Currently he studies a Law Degree at the Law Faculty of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

In his professional practice he has worked on major metallurgical enterprises in Mexico, in quality control and innovation area of new products as well as the protection of the same ones.

He has participated in national and international conferences about biotechnology, genetic engineering and environmental engineering issues, among which are those given by Max-Planck Society and the Southampton University.

ISABEL VAZQUEZ

She is licensed to practice as a lawyer throughout the Mexican Republic. She received her Law degree from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESO) for its acronym in Spanish, at Guadalajara, Jalisco. Subsequently she completed her postgraduate studies in 2015 including the Specialty and Master degree in Private Law at the Anahuac University in Mexico City (North Campus).

Regarding her professional practice, she has worked in the litigation area in Civil and Family Law. She gained experience as well in Administrative Law, by working in the Administrative Court of the Federal District specifically at the General Secretary of Legal Defense, where she offered legal advice and litigation services in Administrative and Tax Law.

LILIANA-YASMIN VELASCO

She is graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Additionally, she has participated in national seminars and courses about biotechnology, biotech drugs and industrial property in which she is formed on Industrial Property under the schemes of WIPO and IMPI.

She has extensive experience in the area of patents, in the formal examination, particularly in the technical review of background as well as analysis and patent drafting.

She has worked as Supervisor Analyst in the area of Biotechnology Branch Divisional Patent Fund Review: Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Chemical Areas, in the government agency in the field of patents in Mexico, IMPI.

She has worked as a researcher for projects in the Department of Food and Biotechnology at UNAM and also for COFOCALEC in the areas of microbiology and molecular biology.

Ha colaborado como investigadora para proyectos del Departamento de Alimentos y Biotecnología de la UNAM y también para el COFOCALEC en las áreas de microbiología y biología molecular.
