Lizbeth Jimenez holds a Law degree from the Marista University, a Diploma in Constitutional Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Diploma in Industrial Property Law from the Institute of Industrial Property and Economic Competition Law; Lizbeth recently concluded a Master's Degree in Administrative Law from the Universidad Panamericana, Campus Mexico City.
Furthermore, Lizbeth has attended several specialized courses regarding trademarks, patents, Geographical Indications and Appellations of Origin as well as certified courses by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), mainly the "Workshop on the Madrid System of Member Offices" in Geneva, Switzerland and the " Trademark Management and Evaluation Course" hosted by the Center for Distance Education for Economic and Technological Development (CEDDET) from the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.
Lizbeth has been professionally practicing for more than 10 years in Industrial Property issues. Until 2019, she served as Divisional Deputy Director of Distinctive Signs at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in Mexico City. Furthermore, Lizbeth took part on the analysis tables for the Reform to the Industrial Property Law and she has given numerous courses on topics related to Intellectual Property.
