Oscar Hurtado is Partner of Méndez + Cortés, S.C. He has been practicing for 12 years in intellectual property issues, specializing in the area of distinctive symbols, copyrights, contracts, consulting and litigation in damages and adversarial litigation before a range of authorities in all stages.

He is licensed to practice as a lawyer throughout the Mexican Republic. He received his degree in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for its acronym in Spanish, he has diverse post educational courses in the Intellectual Property field conducted by WIPO, IMPI, INDAUTOR, UNAM and TFJFA also attended the Specialty about Intellectual Property Mater at the UNAM Post grade.

His professional training began in the Federal Tax and Administrative Justice Court where he did his social service and where he worked for a period of time managing intellectual property issues, taxation, social security, liability of public servants, etc. His practice focused on civil litigation, commercial, family and administrative law.
